The Admiral Codrington – Winter Lodge Review

The Admiral Codrington – Winter Lodge Review

Personally, I can never get enough of Winter Lodges, and The Admiral Codrington in South Kensington, in collaboration with Sipsmith Gin, has just the one for this festive season. For the duration of the Christmas period the traditional pub terrace is transformed into an adorable winter lodge area, with Christmas lights, cosy blankets, decorated trees and of course, a great selection of winter cocktails, designed for especially for the festive season by the team at Sipsmiths.

The Admiral Codrington - Winter Lodge Review 1
Aside from a classic GnT you can now get a Season-appropriate Gingerbread GnT, with Sipsmiths own Gingerbread Cordial; an amazing Sipsmith Orange and Cacao Gin Christmas Negroni, with Campari, Sweet Vermouth and fresh orange peel, and for those who want a proper winter warmer; a Hot Chocolate Orange Gin, containing premium hot chocolate,  Sipsmith Orange and Cacao Gin, and a slice of orange. Between 3pm and 6pm you can also enjoy a double GnT at the price of a single.
Of course, if you’re not feeling the Gin mood, The Admiral Codrington had a wide variety of ales and wines, as well as a great food menu, which you can enjoy in the warm indoors under a skylight, enjoying the lack of stars London has to offer.
If you’re feeling a bit lethargic due to the weather, The Admiral Codrington Sipsmith Winter Lodge is a great place to go to enjoy some modern dining and festive drinks, reminding you of the happy festive time of the year as you unwind after a long day of Christmas shopping.
