Stuck for weekend plans? Well, there’s a brand new festival, called Kaleidoscope that’s taking place at Alexandra Palace on the 21st July and by the look of the set list, it is set to be an outstanding debut.
Yup Kaleidoscope is a brand new music and arts festival hosted by Alexandra Palace. For the first time in 30 years, the Park gates will be thrown open and its rolling hills will welcome a vibrant and (in some cases) eccentric cast of performers for a summer celebration. In their own words, Kaleidoscope is creating a world where music, performance, theatre and comedy embrace in a collision of beautiful noise, brilliant ideas and brazen colour.
Headliners, the Flaming Lips are leading a rich music lineup that also includes Ghostpoet, Beth Orton, The Go! Team and Mystery Jets.
Plus there’s comedy from Dr John Cooper Clarke and Katherine Ryan amongst others and immersive theatre from the likes of RIFT and Gorilla Circus!
DJ sets are covered by The 2 Bears and Hip Hop Karaoke. It’s family friendly too with activities from Chicken Shed Theatre and The Science Museum, all of which are on site inside the beautiful palace and gardens.
Then there’s the view of London, one that never ever gets old!
