The Philippine Dream Charity Cabaret

Fancy enjoying yourself at a one off West End Show and raising money for charity at the same time this Sunday? Then this might be for you.

BRIT-Award winning vocalists BLAKE have joined the line-up of stars from Mamma Mia, The Book Of Mormon, Billy Elliot, Cats, The Sound Of Music and more to perform at The Philippine Dream – a one-off Gala at the Leicester Square Theatre this Sunday (17 August) to raise money for abandoned and abused orphans in Manila.

BLAKE will duet with Filipino pop star Rachelle Ann Go, who is currently appearing as Gigi in Miss Saigon at the Prince Edward Theatre. They have previously performed together in the Philippines, and have recorded a duet for BLAKE’s forthcoming studio album, In Harmony, which will accompany their 20-date UK tour, launching in September.

West End productions have been holding bucket collections to raise money for the Tuloy Foundation in Manila, who are hoping to build a small theatre for the orphans in their care. Fundraising efforts from shows including Miss Saigon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wicked andMamma Mia! have brought the total amount raised to over £12,500. Proceeds from ticket sales for The Philippine Dream will also go to the Tuloy Foundation.

Completing the line-up of performers are Summer Strallen (The Sound of Music, Top Hat), Anton du Beke (Strictly Come Dancing), Dianne Pilkington(Mamma Mia!, Wicked), Hugh Maynard (Miss Saigon), Daniel Buckley (The Book of Mormon, Loserville), Charlotte Riby (Billy Elliot, Hairspray), Alicia Beck (Cats, Zurich Ballet), Tyrone Huntley (The Book of Mormon, Memphis), Harry Francis (A Chorus Line, Edward Scissorhands), Lady Imelda (Glam Jam) and vintage trio The Dolly Girls.

The Philippine Dream is produced by West End performer Katy Osborne, in association with Harry Francis of Francis Hume Productions.
